Cocoa Butter Soap Base

Cocoa butter base pairs cocoa seed butter with organic olive and coconut oil. It is the firmest of our butter bases: bars set hard and hold their shape, which suits crisp edges, detailed molds and bars you cut from a loaf.

It is opaque white with no animal ingredients. Colour comes out in pastel shades, and cocoa powder stirred into the melted base gives a warm brown, the way the chocolate-scented recipe in our book uses it.
