    About this base

    Why Goat Milk

    Colour
    Creamy white
    Lather
    High
    Finish
    Opaque

Goat milk is the base most people picture when they think of a traditional handmade bar: creamy white, opaque and full of lather. Ours has hydrolyzed goat milk in the base itself, so there is no milk to add, measure or scorch. You cube it, melt it and pour.

    Questions

    Good to know

What colour are bars made with the goat milk base?

Creamy white and opaque, so added colour comes out in soft pastel shades. For bright or see-through colours, use our glycerin base.

Is the goat milk soap base vegan?

No. It contains hydrolyzed goat milk. For an opaque vegan base, use our shea butter base.

What does goat milk add to the bar?

A creamy, opaque bar with a rich lather. It's the base for classic goat milk soap.

Can I mix it with the shea butter base?

Yes. Both are creamy and opaque, so they blend freely; the recipe book's rose and myrrh bar swirls the two together.
