Mango Butter Soap Base

Mango butter base pairs mango seed butter with organic olive and coconut oil. It is opaque white, lighter-feeling than shea, with a creamy lather, and it has no animal ingredients.

It melts evenly, pours smoothly and sets firm in about four hours, releasing cleanly from the tray. The citrus zest recipe in our book stirs mango butter into the goat milk base; with this base, the mango butter is already in the block. Because it is opaque white, colours come out as soft pastels; add more colourant for deeper shades, or use our glycerin base for bright, clear colour.
