Why Aloe Vera

Colour: Translucent with a slight yellow tint
Finish: Translucent

Aloe vera base has aloe vera leaf juice in the base itself.

Its slight yellow tint suits greens. The sparkly aloe recipe adds just a touch of green colouring so the bar stays translucent, stirs in cosmetic-grade glitter once the base cools to 125°F, and swirls green mica across the top with a skewer. The cucumber-aloe recipe goes the other way: a puree of whole cucumber, peel included, scatters green specks through the bar.
